Broom Ball!

Who:     All 5th – 8th grade students and their friends!! (Club 56 and EDGE students!).

What:   We are playing Broomball*!!  We’ll have some friendly inter-group competition!  It’s really Club 56 vs. the EDGE!  Score!!  We’re talking bragging rights people!  Bring your “A” game!

When:   Saturday, February 13. We will meet at the Chilled Ponds (1416 Stephanie Way) @ 5:30 P.M.!!  Be there!! We will be done by 7:15 P.M.

Cost:      $15.  Please eat dinner before or after this event as we will not be eating or providing food during the event.

Bring:    A layer of warm clothes (it’s a hockey rink for goodness sake!), knee pads if you want them so you can slide on the ice better, TENNIS SHOES – closed toe!!, a good attitude and a friend!

*Broomball is a version of hockey.  Broom-like devices are used as “sticks” to push a ball about the size of a small soccer ball into the opponents net.  Helmets are used and referee(s) (myself) ensure fair and safe play (no high-sticking, checking, etc.).  You play the game on the ice, in your tennis shoes, so be sure to wear closed-toe shoes.
You must have a CURRENT medical release form on file to participate.
